problem with dvd Drive

Hi i thought i would ask you guys since you seem the clevers people to ask,
i have a problem with my vd drive on my laptop, i got a dvd from the states so i changed the region to watch it then changed it back to region 2 so i could watch the rest of my dvds and so on and so on now im left with one chance to change my dvd reigon back to region 2 but it wont let me saying that i need to check to see if im an admistial account which i do and if there is a region 2 media in the drive which there is, any help would be great, i dont relly want ot use a firmware as iv heard it can damage the harddrive,??

mmm, well that's a toughy; well whats your OS or the media player that you use. it could easily be a problem for either one. I have three media players to run on my laptop for such a reason, lol. That way I can watch anime, foreign movies and regular movies without having to change anything.

Wew you change your DVD region every time ? It's almost to risky cause you will run out chance to choose the region. You should use different media player (don't ever change the region).
