can any one tell me the difrence between:
the "Centrino Duo" processor and the "Core 2 Duo"

Basically, the former is a dual core, whilst the latter is a quad core.

more cores, more multitasking 8D
Or at least that's the theory.

Core 2 running speed makes it more faster than Centrino. Basically, I think it was an older model that was modified for more stable processing and running--Centrino used as a template. Think they may have integrated the two by now.

ummm ... centrino is a computer architecture. core2 is an implementation of the ia32 (recently it was named pentium or core2 ) architecture ...
you can run a core 2 duo or core 2 quad as part of a centrino......

I think centrino is an arquiteture with the processor, chipset and wireless chips made by intel, while the core 2 duo is an processor superior than core duo, being more fast, while consuming less power.
