Problem with my laptop

Hi guys, I bought acer aspire 6920 blue gem awhile ago(few months back) and I've installed TMGENC DvD Authoring and Xpress program but when I want to burn my project out, my screen turns blue and stating that it is dumpting virtual memory or sort of thingy! what should I do? is it not compatible for window VIsta?

I really nid help to solve this problem cause I have alot of movie to burn and I am running out of hard drive to store them T_T

owh yea! and even Nero have the same problem, when I click nero , an error pops out and says that the program should be close since its not responding >.<

How about update your dvd firmware first ?

But I dont think so that is the problem cause on my desktop which have window XP installed don't have such problem when burning my project, but only on my window Vista 0.o?

hmm in that case maybe you can try to burn the cd with the vista burning rom itself (just copy the file and burn). Maybe it will solve the problem wether it software failure or hardware failure...

but i tried using other burning program and it went okay 0.o then should I try re-installing the program just in case?

While software that does not play nice at all with Vista has gotten quite rare, it is not unheard of.

When you go to reinstall the program right-click the exe and go: properties ->Compatibility->Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (service pack 2)

After you install it once again right-click the program and go: properties ->Compatibility->Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (service pack 2)

If you are still having issues copy the error code in the BSoD.

well guys, I found a solution to it alredi, instead of using the TMPGENC to burn my completed project, I use other to burn it out :p ( I am really a PC dumb ass xD)
