Laptop Issues Once More

Mmkay guys, serious matter this time. My Laptop has crashed instead of driver issues and wont run anymore. Some details on the crash; about 5 minutes after turning on my laptop (supposedly fully charged and plugged into an electrical socket), it just shutdown while I was on irc. It wouldn't turn on anymore after that, which is bad T_T. So anyone care to shed some light on this issue? I think its a battery/charger problem but Im no techie. Anyhelp on this matter would be appreciated, kinda will have an impact on stuff :P

um... if you are on transformator mode, take out the transformator and try to start from battery.
if you are in battery mode, take out the battery and try to start with the transformator.
other then that, check your your laptop's power unit's cutout.

does your laptop not start at all or is just the screen keeping black or the operating system/bios not starting/booting?

it doesnt start at all he tried bootin with battery and with AC still no response it wont boot at all

my guess somethin fucked with his memory module or his charger is fucked up either of two

I read [Only registered users can see links. ] that most laptops have fuses in them. It could be possible that you need a new fuse. >.>

Seems like your not the only person with this problem and in this case it's either the motherboard or the fuse issue.

first things first, i the charge light coming on
second when you try to boot it is the power light coming
third do you here the harddrive spinning when trying to boot it

It could be your Laptop overheated or your cooling fan has malfuctioned, try to get an external cooling pad.

So... uninstall all memory modules and hit the power button. it should beep ( screen keeps black though ). it s probably just the cutout has jumped out/melted or there is dirt in the power unit or so.

No. The Power switch and the power supply are mechanical devices, they cannot be affected by software - especially not by a userland/clientspace application like vista desktop. If it was a failed bios update then it was a maybe, but the fans would still turn on for a second or two(it s mechanical after all).

no. it turns on even if it is overheated. it will turn off shortly after again or clock down, but the fans/hdd/graphics card and the stuff will start.

I would uninstall memory modules but the issue is I cant even turn it on because it seems like theres no power whatsoever in my laptop's battery, so Im guessing that I need a new charger, which I have no clue how to obtain.
