Hey

I have make a bash script for converting DVD's or VDR Recordings to .mkv files using theora or h264. You need a running Xserver because i use xdialog for the menus.
It's make to convert complete Series you can chose several Tracks on several DVD's and it make for each Track a .mkv file. So its perfekt to convert a complete Serie to DVD.

I using Ubuntu Hardy Heron.

So is there anyone who wants to test my script and helping me to find bugs?

um... why does the script have a menu? put the menu things in a branch and use command line arguments for the options like all the other scripts do...

i can t test the script more then by just reading it s source though for my dvd device broke and i m out of money for a new one...

since you said you need a ( running ) x-server, what other software are you using ( other then the obvious mencoder )?

You may want to check their forums I am sure someone can help you. Ubuntu's forums are a great resource.
