Some help here.

Anyone knows of any good Virus Scanners or ways to rid viruses? My com recent contracted some kinda weird virus. I'm thinking its trojan. -

When i open up teh windows task manager, i could see this WLLoginProxy. and when that appears, there'll be popups of [Only registered users can see links. ] from my IE and other shit ADs.

Kinda pisses me off as it lags up my com alot. Esp my dl/upload speed.

i don't feel like reformatting cuz i have tons of collections in my computer. Lol. Any suggestions? ;/

mmm, i don't really know about the topic, but i use the NOD32 and i think that is really good, it has found all the virus that others virus canners didn't like kapersky...

I dunno bout antivirus but from wat I know bit defender iz kinda no 1 antiviruz <.<

and btw I use kaspersky, while the PC on mah school usin NOD32 and I always get trojan from mah school >.>

Seriously, AVG. Though in your case it s also highly possible you just installed some annoying spamware.

possible to find where the ware files are and manually delete?

run internet explorer from a debugger or attach it to a debugger, then get a list of libraries that are loaded AFTER STARTUP ( it s a plugin after all ) and set breakpoints at each of the suspected dll's function entry points to backtrace what function is calling for spam, and what dll that function is in.
then process the windows installer log files to find out what those dlls belong to and uninstall that thing.
that s how i would do it.

Ok, im not too great with virus stuff, but I accidentally got something like this a while ago, and I found something called Smit Fraud Fix that fixed it right away. I dont think its too hard to use, but hopefully that works for you. [Only registered users can see links. ], this has a download and instructions on how to use.

Best choices IMO have to be AVG and Nod32, norton used to be good until it made it so you couldn't run anything on your computer >_>... like at all.

I 'd rather use Kaspersky Internet Security,so far I haven't encountered any problems.

tried..doesnt solve the problem.

Closer look shows it might be spyware / malware to try getting Spybot search and destroy, its free

Avira or AVG has to be the best antivirus...Avira is much better in paid version, but the free version still is good
