Digital SLR Camera Tutorials?

I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites on how to get good pictures from their digital SLR cameras. Whether or not you may know, I have one and evening lessons for photography don't start until Sept/Oct so I really want to get the hang of it before then without leaving it in the box.

firstly watz ur camera??? nikon or canon and wat type???

I havin a short experience of handlin nikon d40..........hope I still remember how I handle it >.<

^Sony A200. A bargain SLR camera imo. ^_____^
I don't want tutorials for a specific camera, I just want ones that give hints on how to obtain the perfect photo in general like landscape, portrait, etc.
