Alflame Inferno
A mid review on this hot title.
Summary
Aflame Inferno is about a self absorbed high schooler, Kang Shichan, that gets caught in the middle of a battle between demons. Injured severely and near death, the demon Inferno merges with the student to save his life. Together they win the battle to discover that they are inescapably joined. The only hope of every being separate beings is to close down 1,000 Invento Hells and find the right spell of Resurrection. Can Kang Shichan balance hunting down demons with his school work?
Story:
The story is about--well like the summary said. It really engaging, characters pull into the world, and the writing and style is all it own. It breaks self-apart from the usually genere of the High school hero vs the demons or evil force. Totally orginal and cool.
Art:
Solid, sharp, and atheistically pleasing. Alflame Inferno does not disappoint. The tones and character designs come together nicely to promote it's style and flair. In addition, the artwork compliments the overall mood and macthes the scences.
Thoughts/Overall:
If anything I learned from this manwha is how things work. The story overall works for the art, the art works for the character and the characters make the story better in a never cycle of goodness and pleasing work. I think it does have room for improvements such as some parts becoming undone a bit and the characters aren't excatly perfect, but it does a soild job on keeping the reader guessing and wondering. It's no frist prize, but does it job.
Overall, I guess I'm pleased with it's direction and I feel like it something Fantasy/Action fans would like. If your fan of anime like Inu-yasha, Tokyo Majin, or Tokko, I feel a vibe of those series inhabiting this manwha. I'm waiting to see more and where it goes.
SCORE:
Since I can't give it a full-once over yet, I think I will just give the parts of it's whole a grade.
ART: 4/5
Story: 4.4/5
Execution: 4.4/5
Characters:4.5/5
Overall:4.5/5
