Can't remember the name of a manga/anime...

Okay, so awhile back I started watching some anime that was the story of a guy coming home to find his three animals turned into girls. I think one of them was a goldfish, and I think another was a monkey (not really sure, however).

I found it kinda boring, and I don't really watch series with ecchi in them that often, so I gave up on it (though really, I read/watch shoujo, shounen, seinen if they're stories I like).

So on MU I find that Solaris-SVU has finished a manga called Inumimi... and I think it's the one noted above. I read manga much, much faster than I watch anime, so I figure it would move faster than the anime for me. So I read it, only it's about three dogs. Cute story, just an ending that moves too fast. So I think I'll watch the anime version... and I realize that it's an entirely different manga than the one I was thinking of! Guess I got the animal theme mixed up... (as a matter of fact, Inumimi doesn't have a anime version; such a pity, it's got "a lotta heart to it").

So now I figure I may as well read the manga version of that one anime I started way back when (again going on the assumption that I can read quickly enough to keep my interest). And yet... I can't remember the name at all!

Anyone know what manga/anime I'm thinking of? (come to think of it, I'm not sure I've ever seen the manga version, just assuming there is one...).

What your talking about sounds like the anime Angel Tales (Otogi Story Tenshi no Shippo) the story is about a guy who comes home to find that his previous pets who had passed away when he was a kid returned as angels in the form of young girls. Among the various girls I know there ones who used to be a Goldfish, Monkey, Turtle, etc., but I don't think there was ever a manga version of it.

Ah, thanks, that was what I was thinking of. No wonder I couldn't find it on MU. Not sure if I should try watching it again (looks kinda like a generic harem comedy thing).

Well I was kinda curious about the anime when I first came across it so I decided I would give it a shot as well and watched the entire series more out of curiosity about how it would end and well, sad to say I didn't really get into it. I guess that was another series that wasn't for me, don't know why but it just wasn't able to catch my interest.
