Default hajime no ippo

Well, as you guys may be able to tell, i am a die hard fan of hajime no ippo. This is one of the best manga i had ever read. so i would like to invite some others who heard of or like this great manga on this thread to discuss the storiesof characters or techniques.

you got to love the dempseyroll, it hits you=KOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

damn straight. i am soooooooo looking forward to miyata vs randy boy jr fight 2nd round. man so far the fight was awesome.

i wish they would make kimura and aoki better fighters instead of a losers u kno, they started out so great and now they are just so bad

lol, they were never great. just that they never sucked either. they are above average with realy bad luck on the mix with opponents.

i loved the anime, i guess ill check out the manga. But does the manga go farther than where the anime went in terms of the story?

yea it doe ryu... I really liked the anime too bad it didn't continue on getting new episodes. Ofcourse my fave char would be Ippo, who wouldn't love the dempsey roll ^_^. Hajime no Ippo is a manga with one of the most amount chapters throught a number of years, another one would be Detective Conan which is also still ongoing.

To me Hajime no Ippo was one of those rare exception where I prefer the anime over the manga. I think it was mainly due to how the fights seen much more "alive" on the animation and that really kept my interest going on all the time. But nevertheless both are GREAT

lol, i was just about to post that. and yeah, prediction with the match between miyata and randy boy jr? me with randy, it will work better for the manga and the story for us fans.

definitely true... I came to like the anime abit more than the manga because of that reason.

Hmmm ok in that case i guess ill read the manga if it continues, but wut chapter do i start from in the manga to continue where the anime left off?

like volume 31, if you have not seen the ova or the movies, otherwise like 35ish. i seem to like the manga better, don't mewrong, i like the anime too. just that the fight in the anime is a bit too slow for my liking( not real enough)with manga, i can image the speed to be insane or whatsoever,lol. well, it is just me.
