Summary:
Minami Itsuki or called Ikki is just a regular, not so regular highschool student known as "Baby Face" in Higashi Highschool. he's also known as the leader of delinquents in the area, Higachuu Guns together with his friend Onigiri and Kazu. Ikki lives with Noyamano Sisters since his parents leave him since as long as he can remember. one day, he was beaten by a merciless "Storm Rider" team named Skull Saders, using a latest on-ride available, Air Trek or AT, Ikki couldnt do anything since AT provide the rider with the speed, agility, and "trick" that no other ride can do. soon after that, he realized that Noyamano sisters that was living together with him are also a "Storm Rider" belong to the team known as Sleeping Forest. they were the one who drag Ikki become a Storm Rider so he can take a revenge to those Skull Saders gang. but that wasnt all. the AT world isnt just like Ikki can imagine, since the World of AT is as huge as the Sky, road for Storm Riders, itself. as the story goes on, Ikki will realized the existence of King of Road, Regalia, and his fate as a King...

as a out-of-trend sport shonen manga (RollerBlade) Airgear provide you with a high pumped action, carved with a bit of Physics fact behind it, making the trick somewhat real. the fanservices is also good from the nice artwork. you can expect no less from the author of Tenjou Tenge. too bad the anime just covered less than half of the whole series. the battle is also well drawn, without making the effect covered the scene itself so you could suggest every scene in this manga is "clean" (if you read GetBackers from Yuya Aoki/Rando Ayamine, you'll understad what i mean) as the plot goes on, he revealed a new question along with the answers from previous question. makes we wondered about the next issue "when it'll be released?!" and good humors too! overall, this is a must-read manga for all shonen-sport lovers! you'll never see a sport with such a high-pumped action like this!

My brother and mum has watched the anime, and told me all abt it gloating abt me not having the time to watch (my bro anyway), but i really wish that those AT are real in this world! we can't do those things with the normal roller blades x.x

I wish they would continue it into the anime. In the manga I find it sometimes hard to keep up with the action. I really like it but it would be nice if was still going on.

saura? isnt sora is the right name for the one in the wheelchair.... U mean the former wind king or simca the girl in the wheel chair.

yeah . it would be more intersting if the anime is still going on with the manga . the story is 9.9 of 10

sora is in the wheel chair a moment ago and simca is the one in the wheel chair now. sora= wind king/ traitor

the manga is awesome but i think Oh great is cursed to have really good manga and crappy anime's that follow them.

The anime is really longer than 24 episodes.. Since it's licensed, you can't find it anywhere on the web. (Unless... You know..)

Anyways, I liked this manga so far =]. Have some pretty funny humor.

I didn't Buccha was that dark >.<

season 2 of airgear the anime was canceled due to the people interest in japan. so they stop making it, but they might make season 2, but i dont know when
