Guideicond Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles

Synopsis: Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles a.k.a. Chronicle of the wings is a manga series made by the group Clamp which consists of 4 women. It has been running in Weekly shonen magazine since 2003. It currently has 24 volumes or about 190 chapters. The english version has about 16-17 books out I think.

Summary:Sakura is the princess of Clow kingdom, which is ruled by her older brother, King Tōya. Her childhood friend Syaoran is a young archaeologist. Sakura is revealed to have strange powers when she has a vision of a mysterious symbol and places she has never seen. Meanwhile, Syaoran discovers the same symbol at the ruins he is excavating. He sees Sakura standing on the symbol on the ground. Ghostly wings appear on her back and a mysterious force begins to pull her into the walls of the ruins. Syaoran rescues her in time, but her wings are scattered across dimensions. The High Priest of Clow Kingdom, Yukito, immediately realizes that Sakura's "wings" were the manifestation of her soul and memories; without them, she will die. In order to save Sakura, Syaoran must journey to retrieve her wing's feathers, the fragments of her memories.

Review: Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle is about Syaoran travelling between worlds and gathering cherry blossom girl's (Sakura's) feathers. When I read it I feel like it might go on and on forever, why? I don't know it just kind of reminds me of Inu Yasha. Anyway to gather Sakura's feathers back he will need the help of Kurogane, a rough-mannered ninja banished from his world by Princess Tomoyo, and Fay D. Flourite a magician who fled his world to avoid King Ashura. Well in every world they visit there are people and the same people can exist on two different worlds but be completely different. A person that helps them on one planet can maybe be an enemy spy on another planet. It is very well drawn and I myself find it a great manga since I can really relate to Syaorans pain(I won't tell you what it is).

I give this manga a 4.9 out of 5.0 (because nobody is perfect)

Published by: Del Rey.

Agree or disagree please share your thoughts.

P.S. I hope this is better than my previous review though it probably needs fixing

you forgot to put "review" in the title (I was just about to delete this thread but found out it was a review). Better review when compared to your first review, but your scoring needs to be changed, don't do scales of 5.1 (unless your scale is 1-10)

you can't fix the title, and I already changed it (in the future, if you mess up any title of any threads on Sakura Avenue, let me know since I can change it)

I love this anime but I hate the sudden twist in the ova. I wanted to Syaoran and sakura to fall in love and always be together.

Little tip: If ayone has watched the anime I would strongly recoomned to you read the manga. But if you have read the manga, don't watch the anime.

i didnt like the anime at all especially the second season, it left such an open ending and the fact that there will be no third season make me kind of mad. i like the OVA but i agree the manga is way better
