Story:
"It is a story about a guy named Makoto Okano, who at the age of six had to leave his hometown of Kazune with his mother and sister. Just before leaving, he made a promise with his close childhood friend Minamo; first that they would definately meet again, second that until they met again they wouldn't get married to anyone else- and third that if Makoto felt that Minamo had grown into a "good woman", that he would marry her. As a parting gift, Makoto also entrusted Minamo with his harmonica, telling her that he would be able to hear her play it from any distance, and that he'd be able to find her again. Several years later at around the age of sixteen or so and while living in a new city, Makoto's mother suddenly disappeared, leaving both him and his sister Hinata with only the money she had in her savings account and no idea where their mother had gone. More than half a year passes with no word from her, so Makoto and Hinata decide to move back to Kazune.

Several months after moving back, Makoto had forgotten his textbook at school and went to retrieve it. While in the classroom, he noticed that one of the windows were still open and reluctantly walked over to close it. It was then that he could suddenly hear the beautiful sound of someone playing the harmonica, and filled with a very powerful sense of nostalgia, he ran off to find the source of the music, and the memories he'd nearly forgotten.

This was a very nice one and now one of my fav's though some of the ending's can be very sad.I heard this was one of the best out there so i gave it a try am glad i did.I don't want to spoil the story for anyone so let's just get to the review.

STORYLINE:9/10=nicely done has some good twist's as well some sad moment's and ending's story's a little slow in the beginning though.

GRAPHICS:8/10=well done there's also 3 cool anime video's.1 H scene per girl though hikari has two.This game's not for those who just want H.There's also 6 extra h scene's on the DVD version in a untranslated side story called=Episode of Heroine's(sidenote:in EOH there's a threesome with the sister's and an H scene with mokoto and kasumi)I wish i could read japanese so i can understand why kasumi is doing mokoto poor tsutomu.(sidenote 2:to get the side story's you have to beat all the game's path's.)

MUSIC:10/10=very nice music never get's annoying i love the opening video's song.

VOICE ACTING:8/10 great.

OVERALL GAME:4/5 great game very worth playing.(notice i use the 1-5 scale to grade the overall game.why you say?....i think it's easier to understand check rating scale below.)

I thought this was going to be a regular school setting game imagine my surprise when minamo's father got killed and any other scene with bloodshed in it.
Also all the people in that city seem to have power's that was cool but a little confusing at first though when they stated talking about their power's i thought i'd missed a few line's are something.
The path i enjoyed the most has to be hikari's it was sad that she die's but i think her ending might be minamo's true ending(since minamo's the only path without an after ending scene).All and all i like this game a lot.

Played the game and already finished playing it. Could say that it really is pretty cool VN. Loved the hikari ending. But one i'm not satisfied about the novel. The fujimiya sisters' endings(since their path crossed, I think it also count as one). If you have played it, then you know what i meant. The ending was stupid because...

Why did Nozomi had to die? On the other paths like Minamo and Hinata, she looks fine. of course she still have problems with her heart but later her disease is cured through miracles but in her ending and Wakaba's, she have to die? What wrong with the author!!!!??????

Still, good visual novel. stays as one of my top10 VN, though there aren't many english VN.

Really an interesting game , one of the best Visual Novels i played . Nice ending but are rather sad , well to me it seems that way , but if someone likes visual novels i will recommend it to him , its a good game with good story , character design and music also is good , so it won't be a waste of time .
