Downloaded the english version from Jast when it first came out for download (I could've opted for the cd version but I was impatient, will get Lightning Warrior Raidy II which I already preordered as a CD version).

I didn't expect a lot out from this game, but boy was it good. I died a lot of times because I didn't expect the game to be hard so I kind of neglected my leveling up and died on the bosses (on purpose of course since you need to in order to complete the game with all the scenes).

Gripes about the game: Wish it was longer and armors and weapons are very limited (that's why I can't wait for the sequel). I hated floor VI and V, the most annoying floors in the whole game! Especially VI, it took me over 3 hours just to find the damn map...argh!

Other than that I was pleased with the game. Anyone else buy the game or played the game, share your thoughts.

No, I think it's probably better if someone not upload it right now. Because the game just released a couple of days (or maybe weeks) ago. So it's damn new.
Do you not feel guilty if the game pirated just after its released.
I think it's time for us to behave more polite by trying to buy the game.

However I won't object if someone shared it in the future.

i never liked rpg games got boring and i doubt most of us can post our reviews yet as the game just got out and it takes time to ^^;;

Fair point, and I definitely understand your point of view.

However, there are some people that simply download the game simply to find out if the game is worth purchasing. I'm one of those. Publishers and developers definitely deserve compensation for their work, but to be honest, there's a lot of eroges that make it stateside that simply aren't worth the money they ask for it. No harm in finding out beforehand.

The english version of the game was just released and I bought/downloaded it from JastUSA (saved on shipping but no box) Anyway, just letting people know that if you like dungeon crawling old school RPG then this game is right for you. For everyone else, you might not like it as much since it's not fast paced and it takes time, leveling up, traveling and there's a lot of talking and did I mention that you can easily die in this game if you don't know what your doing, just a heads up ^.^

My opinion : extremely boring

It fails as RPG (not even exactly RPG, because you can't choose which stats to raise), you have to grind a lot (especially on later levels) and kill loads of monsters even after you win against the boss of the level, since mosters on the next floor are MUCH stronger. The levels are pretty confusing, especially later ones, with portals and so on, which can pretty much confuse you for hours. If you want to play it, prepare a pen and some paper - else you're gonna take ages looking for the maps and the boss. Oh, but you will still spend ages levelling up and grinding for it, so you might as well takes your chances and go "where your heart leads".

The game is a failure in hentai department too - there are very few hentai scenes, and about half of them involve Raidy. If you love to look at scenes where the same woman has sex with different men (or toys), have fun. Hentai scenes aren't too bad but aren't great either. Oh, and mosters are pretty much a animal cosplay bunch which dresses down when you defeat them, but trust me, after killing a skeleton "n-th" time you WILL pray for an option to turn that last part off and save a second in each fight and few hours of your life.

I don't really remember much about the sound or visuals, but the sound was probably boring (I turned it off then), while graphics weren't too bad, yet, as I mentioned, very repetetive.

If you have wayy too much time to waste, go for this game. If you would prefer quality, I suggest you to check other english translated (or not) games.
