[Sensei-kun]

lol, I finished the V2 on the [[Only registered users can see links. ]] and thought of putting the original screenshot, the V1 and the V2 in 1 image as a dating company poster xD

and so here it is xD

it was really fun to do, especially since most of my ideas actually worked out xD
and I've been wanting to do a Romantic version of this vector because I think Soul and Maka are a good couple, but the first vector wasn't romantic enough for me, thus here's the V2 xD

I started a few days back with [this screenshot].
as usual I first did the lineart and then added color and as last the shadows... after I finished it I posted it here and started thinking up ideas for the Romantic V2...
today I finally decided to start on the V2 so I first made the background.

the background is a simple pinkish color, a pattern image set to a low opacity together with some black and white bars of different opacities...

then the candle... that one really gave me some trouble...
I wanted to use the same candles as you see in the anime, so I first had to find a good screenshot of it... that already took some time but finally found [this screenshot].
the lineart of it was a little bit different then usual, but fun to do and didn't take so much time...
then came the coloring... and the candle stick was giving me the trouble with that, but in the end I found a way that I was satisfied with.
and then the flame, UGH THE FLAME!!! damn thing took me ages to do xD and just couldn't get the result I wanted... but in the end I found some flame brushes, put together a flame, colored it and added a glow on the candle and yes, FINALLY DONE!!!

then I placed the candle in the right place, resized it, duplicated it 2 times and placed those in the right spot aswell...
then a simple round gradient from transparent to black for the outer glow and a simple white to transparent round gradient for the inner glow, colored the white to a dark yellowish color and lowered the opacity and the candle is done!!

then came the ring... well, it's actually the earring... I wanted to give Maka a diamond earring, so I googled for a diamont image, vectored it (didn't take much time but the coloring was an @$$) and placed it on the ear, and that was... ugly, PLAIN UGLY!! so I just used the diamon for the ring that I already planned to put on Maka... so a simple bar for the ring, some dark yellowish color, ontop the diamond that I resized, a few black linkes and done.

lastly the kiss, AAAH THE KISS!!! xD
I first googled one of those kiss pictures, found one, cut it out, colored it, placed it on Soul's cheek, changed the layer style and voila, Soul got kissed by Maka xD
but ofcourse you need to wear lipstick if you want to leave a kiss mark, so I tried adding lipstick on Maka's lips, and that turned out to be BIG FAIL... so I started searching for other pictures of girls wearing lipstick to see how I should do it... after seeing a few of those pictures I finally got it good enough for me to be satisfied... but just incase I gave the lipstick a small opacity and a color close to the color of Maka's skin. I also added some gloss on her lips just to make it a little bit prettier xD

and done, I finished the V2 and you finished reading this ridiculous long comment, but eh, like I said, I like this coupling so I can't get enough of it xD
