damn I've gotten lazy with posting my new stuff on Sakurahana... only posted the new stuff on DeviantArt xD
I've made 4 new vectors, 1 color and a little Lambo picture xD
well, let's see...
Lambo 100th Deviation: Just a simple picture for my 100th Deviation and a gratitude towards the 1000 Pageviews at DeviantArt.
I revectored the Lambo picture that I used on the Vongola wallpaper and with some brushes and text I put this little picture together.
not something really amazing, but good enough to tell my words...
Little Red Devil Vector: I've been wanting to vector this little jazz guy for some time now xD
when I saw him in 1 of the episodes I already thought of vectoring him, but there weren't many good screenshots of him.
but then came episode 20 and I saw [this] screenshot.
the vectoring was pretty fun to do but also very hard because the screenshot is so dark it was very difficult to see the lines and colors...
so in the end I chose to only release the vector and not the render, but I'm still happy with the end result ^_^
I thought of putting the text "ecstasy" on the vector but in the end I didn't xD
Soul and Maka 2 Vector: I like this coupling :D in the beginning I had some doubts but after I saw [this] screenshot I didn't have doubts anymore xD
so ofcourse I really wanted to vector the screenshot, so I did :D
but I had some trouble with the vector because I didn't follow my normal steps xD
after the line vectoring I did the shadow and then the color... not a good idea >.<
another bit of trouble that I had was the color. I just couldn't get the right colors... but in the end I found the right colors and am now satisfied with it.
and the clothes of Maka may seem a bit weird if you haven't seen the episode, so I suggest to check out [this] screenshot.
if I could I'd vector a bigger part of the dress in the vector, but sadly enough I'm not creative enough for that _[=]_O
and I'm planning on doing a V2 on this vector, in the V2 I want to make the vector even more romantic then that it's now xD
Black Star 2 Vector: AAAH!!! it's Black Star and he's looking cool again!!! xD I so wanted to vector this screenshot after I saw it.
although this vector took more time then it usually takes... that's because of the blade Black Star is holding and so many lines!!!
also the color took a bit more time because I had to find some good colors for the knife.
but if I find another picture of Black Star looking cool and good enough for me to do I'll probably vector that aswell xD

Soul Eater Vector: I really am a Soul Eater fan huh? xD
I so loved this episode, it was so hilarious, especially with Black Star trying to sign the answers of the test to Soul by using his blood to write the answers on the board xD
the original screenshot looks like [this]. and it's as you can see a little different from the usual.
so it gave me a bit of trouble, that's why I released a second version of the render.
after I finished the vector I didn't had any ideas to make the vector look better, but a few hours later I did. (I also forgot to add a few things and made 1 or 2 small errors xD )
so I released a V2 that in my opinion looks better...
I'm also planning on vectoring Black Star in this episode, but I don't know when I'll do that xD
Alice Thompson: last but not least!! a color that I really enjoyed making and have been wanting to do for a long time now...
a few months back No_Rulz posted a sketch that was made by a friend of his on the forum of Hikimori no Kami and the sketch looks really amazing.
it even had the shadows and lighting, so it wouldn't be so hard to color, but sadly enough around that time my vector skils weren't so good as they're now.
so I wasn't able to produce a good enough lineart to work with.
but 2 days back I found the PSD with the sketch again and I tried and it worked out well :D (well, it's made by me, so the chance of it looking good was really low xD )
I spend about 5 hours doing the lineart, and I was planning to stop after I finished the lineart, so I did a little bit more on the lineart then I usually do >.<
but yesterday I thought why not try to color it aswell, so I tried it again and it also worked out well.
but there were a few things that bugged me... 1) the eye, I so s*ck with drawing and have almsost no creativity myself so it was hard to do.
2) a few blocky hairstrands... they didn't looked really good with alot of spiky hair around it.
3) I PUT THE SHADOW ON AN ARM ON THE WRONG SIDE!! xD damn that was a really stupid mistake xD
4) the color looks a little bit empty, it needed a bit more in it...
so I decided to try and do a V2 with some ideas for fixing and adding...
I fixed the eye by going through a eye tutorial... and the color looks 10x better now with the eye fixed...
the shadow on the arm was fixed and I edited the hairstrands...
and I had alot of ideas to add in the color, but only 2 worked... and that's the belt and the swimming ring.
but this color had 2 BIG problems, 1) PHOTOSHOP KEPT CRASHING WHILE I DID THE V2!!! damn that was so friggin irritating...
2) I didn't know who sketched this... I did know it was sketched by a friend of No_Rulz but that's not very clear.
so I e-mailed No_Rulz and asked, and I've found out that the artist is female and her name is Chantal ^_^
phew... that's all of them xD maybe I should make 1 big showroom topic, maybe that'll make it a little easier for me to post my stuff xD
