Thanks for the tuto...was going to cancel this request, since Maya is 50% so easy for me to handle...*currently constructing a Tank, about 50% done with 20% details* T.T i can only do it when im at the academy...my lame com doesnt support Maya

Try Blender, it is freeware and opensource. Pretty good compared to 3dmax

just go through the Navigation tut first and a basic modeling tut
