GOTM #01 [Discussion Thread]

Rules

1. Your files must be only in .jpg, .gif, and .png format.
2. Every GotM has a theme, so your entry must fit the current theme.
3. Maximum sizes for your entry is given with each new theme.
4. Your entry must not contain hentai, but can contain ecchi content. Not explicit.
5. You may not edit your entry, the image, but you can correct any other errors.
6. It is not allowed to enter an entry not made by you.

IF YOUR ENTRY IS NOT FOLLOWING THESE RULES, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

Theme

Theme: Summer Season
Type: Wallpaper
Extra Comments: Welcome to the first Graphic of the Month Contest.
We start the very first GotM with a Wallpaper-type and the theme is Summer Season.
Your Wallpaper can be made anyway you want, as long as it's Summer Themed.
Minimum Wallpaper size is 1024x768 and there's no maximum, but try not to go overboard with the size.

Ending date

August 27th

Another way to practice. I'm going to try this too. Haven't made wallpapers before, so this will be a challenge.

lol, there are some summer based animes out there, but it doesn't need to be only anime, you can also do something outside anime, but now that I think about it it's been a while since we last had a real "summer" anime... a few seasons ago we had plenty of them but now... and lol, the only summer anime I can remember so fast is Lamune xD

well, at least the title says summer lol, though the plot might be more mahou-like?

lol, yea, that anime doesn't really give off a summer feeling, especially when they had winter magic in the 1st episode >.<

yup, freestyle... SotW is mainly anime, so with the GotM I'm aiming for a more open type of graphics
