i do like to know who is your favorite japanesse singer? and why you like him/her?

Nana Mizuki , Yukari Tamura, Tamaki Nami, Rie Fu , Sowelu, Natsuko Aso.

Their voices are capable of singing with such power, that the lyrics of their songs sometimes move me.

My favorite would be Akiko Yoshida ( KOKIA ) since I first heard the opening of Phantom - Requiem for Phantom ( Karma ). I really like to listen to her music because I like her clean and fragile voice and her songs are pretty relaxing to the soul.

right now, for solo performance, YUI takes the cake, her voice and overall instrument playing is just magic to behold, and I have nothing but respect for her.

For bands... SCANDAL right now is on top of my list, they are just too awesome. Their rock songs have the best instrument playing that I have heard in a while, and topped off with great vocals from everyone, just...epic.

hmm.... MAy'n, Nana Mizuki

why? Coz it's simple they are the "main" artist on the soundtrack of Magical Lyrical Nanoha Series not to mention they have great talents!

also Lia

why? what the heck she sings like a song bird! also most of her songs (in anime) are sort of like a.... inspirational songs

and the three of them well.... "packs a punch" when they sing!

I don't listen to too much JPN music but I do like some of the rock bands. I hear them from anime opening and endings

For male performers, Abingdon Boys School hands down. I really like what they're capable of and their songs just speak to me. UVERworld, ORANGE RANGE and ON/OFF are great too.

As for females, I've got tons; Nana Mizuki, Sachi Tainaka, Jyukai, Angela Aki, HOKAGO TEA-TIME (which are the K-ON seiyu) and so much more

I found most artists through anime but of cause, there are some I found through other means. M-flo is one example of the latter. I had been getting their songs since their first album and had been a fan since then. Over the years, their songs had more and more variety, having different styles in their albums. And I like Shota Shimizu too although he's quite a new artist.

For artists I found through anime, there are a lot. The one I like best is Nana Mizuki. I first found out about her through Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. Her speaking voice is not so loud so I was surprised to see her having such strong vocals. I also like Mami Kawada and KOTOKO. I found these two through Shakugan no Shana. Well, and a lot others like Aqua Timez, LM.C, Back-on, etc... Just to name a few I like.

Nana Mizuki, Rie Kugimiya, UVERWORLD... :D...
I've been listening to them for quite some time and two(Nana and Rie) are my fave seiyuu's :D
For UVERWORLD they're pretty amazing if you ask me. :D

That's a trait found in a lot of singers actually. Look at Angela Aki and the singer from the band angela (whose name I can't remember at the moment). They both speak quite softly but they've got a wide vocal range

What a coincidence, both also got 'Angela' in their names.. xD Well sadly, I didn't hear much of Angela Aki. I know she's a pianist and sings well (duh). I had seen some of her performances from Music Station before.

Angela Aki goes high and kind of loud while Atsuko (the singer from angela) goes high, loud and fast. They're both really good

J artists that are you favorite which WEREN'T found from anime?

I'm currently addicted to Yui Horie at the moment. Who knows why. Maybe because her songs are catchy?
