Chrono Cross (Yes it is Old +.+)

Who has played Chrono Cross? =D
For me i played it on the Ps1.
Caught it whilst looking through a pile of games to play.
(Sequel to Chrono Trigger which is also on the Ps1)
Anywho...

Chrono Cross

Featuring a story line developed by the creator of "Chrono Trigger" and "Xenogears," Chrono Cross has been christened the "Best RPG Creation" by its development team.

Story Line

The story of Chrono Cross focuses on a teenage boy named Serge and a theme of parallel worlds. Faced with an alternate reality in which he died as a child, Serge endeavors to discover the truth of the two worlds' divergence. The flashy thief Kid and forty-three other characters assist him in his travels around the tropical archipelago El Nido. Struggling to uncover his past and find the mysterious Frozen Flame, Serge is chiefly challenged by Lynx, a shadowy antagonist working to apprehend him.

I mean... 43 characters!!!

played it,finished it but the story sometimes comes out a bit confusing so not exactly my 1st choice

The soundtrack is incredible. I still study to it. The battle system can be frustrating at times. It would've been a decent game on its own, but when compared to Chrono Trigger, it loses some of its shine. It would be wonderful to see a true sequel to Chrono Trigger, but I'd also like a pony and the fortune of Bill Gates, while I'm at it. A fine game, but there are certainly better.
edit: PS1 is NOT OLD.

Old but put within my treasure box...

I had played it to completion... got different endings with different girls... (Razzly-Kid-that childhood friend-Schala)

Flute opening song... great music! As for game combats/plays... since I don't combat too often to maximize the stat gains so I have no complaints... the puzzle to gain character is a bit annoying though...

bout the chrono series i'd heard once that there was a 3rd installation named chrono break or something like you guys ever heard bout it?

The name was copyrighted, but no action has been taken by SE. There is no third installment. Miracles would have to take place if a third Chrono game was to be. For now, Chrono Break is a dream of the fans.

Hooo... First time ever hearing it... but I assume if the fans are building up then the game will be launched. (Game makers equals money grubbers)

Man i loved this game...especially it's soundtracks...however i found chrono trigger to be better

This game have an awesome story and a excellent gameplay. Dont understand why they countinue making alot of FF game and drop this series.

Chrono Cross is the first PSX game I've ever bought (having started gaming late). I've never gotten too far, and I don't care for it as much as Chrono Trigger, but it's still fun, and it's a classic.

The game was great, though I haven't played chrono trigger yet(for some unknown reason). Chrono Cross has a bit of replay value since there's many characters to upgrade or find out the triple or double team of each member. I would play in today's age since there hasn't been many next gen console rpg games.

excellent game...

the graphics was considered amazing at the time of release IMO.

the colors and mood of the whole game was splendid
