I mostly like Phantasia and Symphonia, both having a nice overall plot, and great characters and villains.
Destiny would be the 3d, being good in overall, but the combat system feels rehashed (have't played the remastered version).
Eternia's story and characters are just not as enganging.
Legendia's heroes are also bad, save for 2 and the villains are ...unnoticed.
I actually can't remember their names.
Abyss villains plainly suck.
You just fight them over and over again, and their only development is when they finally die.
Except for Dist, he is awesome.
Jade alone though makes this game a must.
Finally, I just started playing Vesperia, I hope it shapes out well.
To sum it up, while Tales of games are always well-executed, sometimes the characters and storylines feel rehashed with no depth.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Tales of Vesperia T.T the only Tales game I haven't touch or PLAY!! T>T
I've played all of them(including Tales of the World series and Radiant Mythology) except the one i rant above...
currently waiting : Tales of Hearts and Radiant Mythology 2
what i want : Tales of Vesperia!!!
recommend all of them to who loves action? RPG anime style game
1 question : Yuri(ToV) is the only sword-wielding character that uses his left hand only?? i find him cool that way...cause of the style...
Anime Girls with Close Combat Weapons are always #1 to me

i played tales of destiny 1/2, tales of the abyss, tales of symphonia(jap =.=),phantasia and Legendia, all i tought were very good, but my all time favorite of those was abyss without any doubt, specially fight nebilim on higher modes of dificulty, that bitch can hit u hard =.=
I've played all English ones until the PS2 generation, Radiant Mythology, plus the fan translated Phantasia. I love all of them but my favorite among all is Tales of Destiny (Stahn and Rutee FTW!) and Abyss rocks because of Jade.
The facts that they refuse to translate Tales of Destiny 2, and that I have no 360 to play Vesperia on irk me to no end.
*Goes to concoct a plan which hopefully ends up with EW's best bud lending him the X360 even though said best bud doesn't want to due to Armored Core and Vesperia*

Vesperia....I'm still in the half-way
The sad thing is .....TAT My xbox360 shows the red ring sign a few weeks ago...
The worse thing is there is no service center available in my country so I have to sent my console all the way to Hong Kong for warranty.
It will be taking months for my console to come back....HOW CAN I LIVE WITHOUT VESPERIA~~~!
For your question, yes. Yuri is the first left-handed sworld-weilder in tales.
