I think both the 360 and ps3 and better than the Wii
although i consider myself somewhat of a 360 fanboy i believe the ps3 has a vast amount of room the become the best out of all 3 consoles
my reasons for disliking the wii is solely on its name.. appearance commercials. target audience[not hardcore gamers], and the guy that does the things on the e3 and all that presenting stuff..

any game for the xbawks is on the PC, and my PC is quite a bit more powerful than a wimpy xbawks.

the PS600$.....well, until FF13 arrives, will only have use for watching Xam'd Lost Memories without having to reincode it.

wii, far too many casual games, and i'm not a fan of zelda either. the only games i enjoy are super mario galaxy and... uh... super mario galaxy.

ps3, so so, launch games suck, but now i've mgs4 and some more goods, am waiting for god of war.

360 = red light district... hell, it's hot (i mean the cpu). but my priority (except pc) when it comes to shooting. i like 360 control sticks, for me they're more manageable than ps3's. and since a lot of shooting i play; gears, hl, portal, r6, cod, etc.; i vote for 360

but then again, my dislike of wii maybe because i haven't paying enough attention to it

PS3 all the way i've had a xbox and a ps3 and my xbox died 4 times so i just gave up and stuck with just a ps3, the ps3 also still has the blu ray format and is much more future proof than the 360 imo...

Storage is everything bluray>dvd as the more space the better the graphics, the better the textures and sound ;)

Wii is kind of like a board game. You play it for a long amount of time when you first get it then it just sits there for the rest of the years.

PS3 is really a blu ray player... not much games out for it (some may say otherwise im an RPG fan)

xbox 360 is where the games are right now full packed RPG has almost every game Ps3 has and more

and he's right!
To be plain, PS3 is the best in term of tech than any other consoles right now. But, it's the most expensive one.
If you're some hardcore RPG player, maybe X360 is your choice ( for now ) because it has more RPG game than the other two. But, for next year, I can't say that X360 will has more RPG game than PS3.
If you just play game for fun with your friends, Wii is your choice, mate!!

Now, for the next-gen consoles ( PS3 and X360 ) which is better?
I'd say.... PS3!
Reason: maybe X360 has more game than PS3 right now, this is simply because X360 is come out a year ahead than PS3, So, it makes sense. (right?). We just need to wait until next year, and PS3 game will come out more and more.
But, PS3 use blue-ray DVD!! It has around 80,5G space, so it will save your money.
Ex: MGS4 on PS3 use almost all of blue-ray DVD space. What do you think if it will port on X360? It will use 7 ( yes 7!!) DVD. How much it will cost??

So, the choice are yours, and yours alone

Just depends like v4yt said. Personally, I like some games on the 360, but the PS3 is also a gem in it's own right. The wii, though has a lot of interaction, so it's up the user.

Reasons:
1-It's PS and NOT a box.
2-It has awesome graphic compare with others.
3-It controller is look awesome with dual-shock PS3 compare to XboX colorful buttons. It gives me a headache by looking at many colors.

Well... i own a ps3, and i think it's great, though i don't really have that many games (i often ask my cousin to lend me some) cause living in an isolated country as i live makes buying games a lot more expensive (>$120 dollars for the new ones), i'm thinking about selling my ps3 and buying an xbox 360... why? cause i can buy copied games for the 360 and play them, that way i can update my games collection without having to spend a LOT of money, that's why i think xbox 360 is best (for me), though if i had more money i would stick around with my ps3, not cause i think the games are better than 360's, but cause i always used to own a ps, that is.... cause i'm used to playing with it

As for the wii... if you are a lone player don't even think on buying it,
now if you like to play with friends, you should definetely buy it

PS3, I am already acquainted with the PS & the PS2, plus the PS3 has more storage capabilities than the 360 & the games could be better if the whole Blu-Ray disk space was used.

Ps3-su: I own one and despite some miscellaneous belief, I've no issues with the actual hardware of my ps3-su. The disc space is hands down superior and leaves much more room for potential. The hardware I've heard varying opinions on, both "backing" their respective points with system specs-su. My personal opinion, hardware is better.
By the way, FFXIII has a ps3 exclusive, psp exclusive, and a cross platform one.

xbox360-su: A fine console, well established, and recently more reliable-su. Supports a large selection of games, online and off, and now supports netflix streaming for free with a netflix account. I still disagree with charging for online access in addition to whatever one pays for broadband already, and lastly, I'm not personally fond of the OS-su.

Wii-su: Awesome for what it is, and it is a family oriented console geared towards younger children and seniors-su. You get a few gems, like No More Heroes, but they are generally few and far between. The biggest issue is the degree of flatout trash on the console due to nintendo's "don't ask, don't tell" policy with game quality.
It does have decent online capabilities but it's online play is "Wii"tarded with it's required "IP" address-su.


My personal preference-su is my darling, lovely PS3-su.
