Maple Story

So use to play this game like 3 years ago it was pretty fun at that time, but it got boring really fast, the leveling was terrible had to grind forever inorder to actually enjoy the game and the community was meh.

So yea i just wanted to hear how other people who played this game thought about it

o and BTW i was level 50 lol...

It's a cute game but it's very repetetive so there's no real surprise up the lane

Leveling was a grind, there weren't many interesting quests and too many kids.

I played maple global about 4 years ago (for about 4 months). About half a year ago I started maple europe (irl friends asked) and atm I'm lvl 70 (im slow lvler). It can and will get boring if u don't have friends in ms, but if u do it's quite fun. Lvling is a pain in the a** but i don't know any mmorpgs that has easy lvling (except for private servers).

The fact is that maple story has huge amounts of kids playing it, wich isn't anything wierd considering the graphics. It's hard to find ppl around 18-20, although global ms officials have stated that ms is mainly for ppl around 17-18 (yeah I didn't believe it either). Although I haven't met many, I do have friends above 20s in ems. It seems that most above 20 in age are the most hardcore players and are above lvl90 (at least that is what I've heard from them)

It was cool until everyone became so inclined about who's pro and who's not. When kids started stealing from their mom just to get NX cash. I remember when cash items only lasted for 14 days. That's when it was cool.

The Great Chase is better. Maple story in 3D with loli's

I never played MS, but many people told me it was almost just like TGC. (Which I found to be fun for a little while. But having to pay for some of the items just pissed me off, and I quit. I don't want to have to pay for a "Free" MMO.
