In your opinion, the best tacticale role playing game?

I really got into tactical role playing games lately, and IMO, the greatest would be the Disgaea series.

And...really that's the only one I've played. XD But still, I think it's the best.

What do YOU guys think is the best tactical games?

yea i agree disgaea the best srpg iv played cant wait for disgaea 3 for ps3 comming out at the end of the month, id also say luminous arc was pretty good for a nintendo DS

For me I consider the Super Robot Taisen series to be the best, the stories usually aren't bad, I love the fact that the staple of the series is that you get to command the legends of the mecha animes like Amuro Ray from the original Gundam, Kabuto Kouji of Mazinger, and Ryoma Nagare of Getter Robo. Sides what kind of Japanese mecha lover wouldn't enjoy finally seeing they're animated heroes interacting with one another? But what really sells it for me is the combat animations whenever two machine get within attack range, they just keep getting better, Alpha 3 for the PS2 had the most detailed and stunning ones but the newest previews for Super Robot Taisen Z have taken another step further in my eyes.

Hmm Tactical rpgs

. One of the greatest forms of RPG's ever made. For me personally I would have to say the best tactical rpg would be Final Fantasy Tactics. Just because of how awesome the characters were and the story line behind it. Plus the remake on PSP was super awesome.

I also have to say that most of the tactical RPGs made by Nippon Ichi are awesome, Disgea, Phantom Brave, Soul Nomad ect...
Also Wild Arms Crossfire isnt half bad either.

super robot taisen wars for me was very good specially due to the fact of having all my lovely mecha series in them xD

also front mission 4 was pretty good

Don't Like NIS games... take 2 much time & boring

I also suggest FFT.
If you know many animes created by Sunrise, Super Robot Wars entertains you.

FFT + FFTA + FFTA2 are all great games, but my favorite game is Battle Moon Wars (a doujin game based (not really) on Super Robot Wars, but with TYPE MOON characters).

Yggdra Union is also great. It's also quickly become hellish if you screw up.

Ah...lucky bastard XD. I don't have a PS3...And I don't plan on buying one just to get one game (Don't get me wrong, I also wanna play Ratchet and Clank, but those other games don't interest me)

And I never heard of Super Robot wars, is it that good?
