I was checking this game out on YouTube and I want to ask about this for anyone who played it. Is it basically the same as the PC game only with Taraimawashi-hen, Tsukiotoshi-hen, and Miotsukushi-hen added? Why is the Miotsukushi-hen considered the "True" good ending in the series and not Matsuribayashi-hen? I don't get whats the difference btw the two besides one is for PS2 and the other was PC.

I played Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri last month.
You're right.It is basically the same as the PC Higurashi.
But also Matsuri has some little differences.
First of all, please look these Japanese sites,

The differences are ...
1 graphics
2 voice (characters speak in PS2 Higurashi)
3 choices (Players can choose Keiichi's action in PS2 Higurashi) -> look 3 screenshots in the 2nd site.
4 some episodes are replaced (Miotsukushi-hen,etc.)

Because Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri is not produced by 07th Expansion.
A construction of the producer for PS2 Higurashi is Miotsukushi-hen.

Both Matsuribayashi-hen and Miotsukushi-hen are "True Good Ending".
