Man sentenced to death in China for raping 21 young girls

BEIJING - A MAN has been sentenced to death in eastern China for raping 21 girls of primary and middle school age, state media reported.

Yang Chao received the death sentence at a court in the eastern province of Anhui, the Anhui Market News reported on Monday, for raping girls as young as eight.

He admitted to raping 21 young girls, starting from November 1996 when he raped a nine-year-old, sina.com.cn, a popular news website, said.

Yang intercepted some of the girls when they were walking alone on the road, the newspaper said.

Just 14 cases were heard in court, the newspaper said, as some of the victims refused to testify for different reasons. -- AFP

chinese secret services might be crap when compared to european/us ones, but they are certainly not bad enough to have someone like that act freely for more then ten years. where is that information from?
i don t need to be able to understand chinese to tell that sina.com.cn isn t a serious news provider.

since as i posted earlier there is no trustworth source to that information ( there isn t such a report on the web range of AFP and sina.com.cn (which btw doesn t have that report either) isn t a serious press service - no press that pretends to be serious will use google for searching when everyone in the country knows google is manipulated by the gouvernment(s) [ is it even accessible nowadays? i mean... they prevent connection attemps on youtube for more then half a year now and youtube uses the same servers... ] )
