Do You Believe in True Love and Why??

Well this is something that I can spend hours wondering about..
is there something like true love and does love really exist or is it just a matter of attraction...

Well firstly Im not a big fan of the word Love and Im not that big on the subject I dont really know if Love exists....

All I know is that I dont really believe in it I myself believe that its just a matter of physically attraction and intellectual attraction then some might argue that this would be love.. but when I hear the word love I think about something that goes beyond those things.. a thing I have never expierienced myself hence the I dont really believe in love..

well hopefully I'll get some answers here or at least more inputs for when I go off to my special Thinking place and gets all philosophical...

true love nope ...coz human beings have the nature to get used to something and could get bored from such things fast that means there is no such think like true love at least non which lasts long... if its only love yes coz that are only some chemical processes in the human body but i'm the wrong person for such topics coz i know not uf such feelings ...

well, my answer is no, but I can't really explain it...

I just don't really believe in it, same as for the question if I believe in God, which would be no.
but it doesn't mean I don't believe people really love eachother

I tend be attracted alot by boring things/characters therefore i will say there is true love. though i would also have said that even if you had not posted that. i can t tell why though.

Because you tend to love someone so deep that you wanted to with him/her every single moment.

I think true love/love depends alot on your feelings and true intentions. When you love someone truly i think its based on how much you would sacrifice for that special someone. I think that nowadays the love people talk about is more based on caring, sharing, being there for the person, attraction.. And well for me true love/love would be all that plus the fact that you would be willing to sacrifice anything for that person. How much true and sincere you are to your feelings towards that person, and how serious you are. For me love and true love are the same, there is love, when you really love someone, and you really care for them, not only with words, but actions. When you do the possible and impossible without even asking anything in return. I think thats love. Love has nothing to do with possessiveness, or selfishness. Its all about trust, and caring more for that person's happiness than your own, and being there for your beloved one, not necessarily everyday, but when he/her needs you the most. If you dont do that or feel that way i guess you just really like someone, you dont love this person. I guess love goes beyond those descriptions, and if you feel it truly, you're a very lucky person.

This is just my point of view, i've read the other posts in this thread, and i think everyone has their own reasons to believe and not believe in it, and it must be respected anyways.

I myself cannot say I truly love... but I CAN say I truly care... for someone/something.

How do you even define 'true love'? Are there variations? Are there time constraints? Is it mutual or one-sided?
Love is something to be given freely not rationed, but once received it is like a precious object: to be jealously guarded, to be kept from harm, to be used until it wears out and upgrade for a new one, to be used roughly and thrown aside, to be discarded only to be recycled, to be torn to shreds out of malice, to be carefully preserved and repaired so that it can be enjoyed for a lifetime. All of these could be called true love from the perspective of the giver.
As a Romantic I say true love exists. As a Cynic I say it is rare to find and rarer still to share.
I pray it comes to me but never expect it to.
Good luck to those who seek it, but I envy you who find it.
