Kids these days...

for all dutch people

Quote:
Jeugddetentie voor mishandeling
17 Juli 2008

for all people who can't read dutch. the text says that 6 children, between the age of 12 to 15 years old from Rijswijk have been abusing a girl from 11 years old and her little brother of 8 for a long time.
the 6 children have been hitting them, kicking them on the head and hitting them with sticks, and they recorded it with the camera on their mobiles.

well, the text doesn't say that exactly, since I also heard some things on the radio that isn't in the text.

but really, DAMN
kids these days really are going the wrong way, and it's only getting worser and worser.
and the internet is helping a great deal with this. since these kids get those ideas of abusing people from the internet. really, I sometimes wish the world would go back 40 years when people were still normal

kids these days and kids 40 years ago are not that different. Only new technology...bullying has been around for a while...heck even gangs were around for a long time.
It's terrible something like this happened, but tell you the truth, this probably happened 40 years ago too, only difference is no one knew much about it, due to the lack of technology and they probably didn't take photos or record it.

Seems like commonplace, everyday stuff (depending where you live) that's gotten WAY out of hand. Seriously, what the hell is the point of recording it, or making it a lengthy ordeal. Kinda makes you wonder if people, especially some kids these days have all their effing marbles, and haven't mentally regressed to the same state oif mind as a baboon.

40 years ago they wouldn't be off so easy, their parents would be sure to punish them strictly, in Holland that is. don't know how it'd go in other countries. and yes, bullying has been around for a long time, but this young and hard?

you know parents these days, both work since government is saying "work, Work, WORK" so they don't have much time for their children, thus their children get this bad. and when it happens they're all like "how could this ever happen?"

Pretty interesting...

I've seen bullying around me in all age onset. Kids up to adult have been a subject to bullying. It is the very nature of human I think...

I've done some too in the past... without fully understanding that what I've done is a terrible thing to do. If I remember it... I just feel satisfaction that someone is "below" me. Bow before me and... etc... you get the drift.

Why? Well... I don't know... once you've done it... you will fell further and further... like a drug.

How do I stop? Well... I don't remember. I just get bored or something... or finally learn about society or someone finally knock my senses...

This bullying can get worse depends on the kid's creativity... or outside influence (media, parents, etc). If you want an example... Some kids doing a WWF gangbang kids version on a poor sap... broke his neck too... when they got caught later... they just said that it looks way cool.

As for that poor kid who broke his neck? Well... my partner has him patched up... he will be running again in no time. Pretty serious though...

Kids bullying is physical... while adults can also bully mentally... it has no real difference to me. Get used to it. When you enter the big world... just watch your step.

to be on topic, humans do foolish things and it doesn't matter what time period it is; bullying is a social problem that will not go away, since some parents encourage it

*laughs* Do you know this reminded me something. There was one time when I read a article about how the new generation is more cruel and spoiled than the previous one and stuff. The only thing is that article was writeen by a philosopher over than a 100 years ago. So, yeah, times changes but the people don't.

In my opionon (i was one of the bullied befor...) people do bullying to look cool and to feel good, because at home the get either scolded or aren't noticed at all, they need a way to release their anger... and that will be the weaker ones... in my case i got bullied by a whole group of 5 people just because they were bad in school and nobody cared shit about them, so they had to release their frustration... on me. If i look back, i just pity those people, because they won't last long in this day and age if they can't learn to bow to someone above their status...
