China Shi Chuan Earthquake

Today we gather here to pray those people who die in earthquake stand in silent tribute for 3 minuts. We pray for them to let them rest in peace. We hope they can release souls from suffering.

This earthquake caurse about 20 thousand
people have die and more than 50 thousand people lost their home life.We must know what pain they are and the incident woke memories of they past sufferings.

So I hope all of you dun't forget what have happen in china,I wish all my fellow friend in Sakurahana can pray for them and remember it will also happen to you maybe one of them is our friend.

kp~~~~~~*glares at you* That's not very nice~~ne~~~~ What if it REALLY happens?
*smacks you across the head~~~not too hard tho~~~~*

My mother told me about it and i also read about it later on.....
It seems that China is having a lot of disasters this year.
First it was the winter snow storm disaster....now this earthquake....
*kneels in Buddhist temple and prays with palms together~~~*

Hopes those that are alive will be able to recover and rebuild their homes as soon as possible. Also hopes that the Chinese government will take further measures to quake-safe buildings throughout the country and make foundations more stable~~
This is highly important in terms of minimizing the drastic effects of earthquakes~~~!!!

My sincere thanks to momogirl for assembling this sig for me! >.^

well, i read the newspaper today and some people are actually scaried to go to the camps as they think they will turn to slave workers or something. the ppl had to cut a girl's legs off to get her out of the mess and some roads were too damaged to be crossed. all i can say is, shit had hit the fan hard and the death toll had climbed over 20000. that is a lot.

As it stands, China is getting more attention because they are allowind aid to enter their country, and they also have more resources to devote to fixing the problem. Myanmar is so closed that their victims don't get enough coverage and the aid flowing into the region is choked off by the paranoid government.

On another note, this earthquake is probably the worst thing that could happen to the Tibetans. They finally get on the news, and gain world sympathy against their Chinese oppressors, yet this earthquake strikes and makes the world feel sorry for the Chinese and ignore the Tibetans again. The news used to be full of reports of protestors attacking the Olympic Torch and politicians considering boycotting the Games, but now it's all sympathetic to their losses.

Political stuff aside... everyone deserves help. The warlords are always on the top... far from the earthquake below. Do please be reminded... that in every conflict... the parties involved are never fully innocent or... fully guilty.

We can only see, hear, and talk from afar... I doubt we can make any significant difference (unless you contribute somehow). Let us offer them our best wishes... and be vigilant ourselves just in case the same thing happens to us.

lots of natural disasters happen around the world
in school one of the possible causes for some them is partly due to global warming the weather patterns have been unusual
i heard from a relative that it snowed for a long time in china and that this was the first time in god knows how many yrs and this was during new yrs
stuff like this makes me worry like who's next?

why are the stars so bright?
...because its dark enough for stars to shine
