Default How can hentai sites say all characters are 18 or over?

Hello everyone I have a question ive been curious about for quite sometime. How can hentai sites say "All characters and actors depicted are 18 or over", when they have characters from Pokemon Naruto, Bleach, and Yugioh and other anime and toon characters. I know ash, Misty, May, Dawn and some others from Pokemon are all under 18 aswell as Characters from naruto for a fact. SO how can they say something like that when it is indeed a bold face lie? Can anyone explain?

its a technicality that has to be there by law.

Hence you see all the characters going to "unnamed UNIVERSITY" instead of "unnamed high school" due to that.

Yea I think its pretty stupid because any goverment official that decides to research it alittle bit can pop in an anime and usually the first episode will tell them how old they are or just research it on wikipedia.

Considering it's a cartoon character, I'm pretty sure they could just claim that the characters are drawn older or something to that effect. If not it would be deemed child porn (at least in Australia). It's pretty hard to confirm the age of a drawing, y'know.

technically, and they have drawn a child looking character and then state that this character is 18 or over, and this is perfectly legal

Actually it depends on where you live. In Australia, drawn characters that looks under 16 in any sexual situation counts as child pornography. The whole "looks under" puts classifying it in a bit of an unknown area though, but if found guilty you're a paedophile. It's part of a zero tolerance thing we got going on here :/

Lol its simple Loli = child porn in west not allowed people can close you down if they complain against so you will see every company who sells licensed games or movies in US or anywhere will specifically put somewhere that all characters depicted are of legal age.... even though the game may have loli routes, this is one of the main reasons you don't see much of licensed loli hentai

yep, it's simply law~

well, they type/write it like that so that it won't have any problems with words 'child abuse', even though what they create is not just 'pictured' as child, or loli's, but it is loli's

well, kinda funny huh?? all characters are in legal ages, 18 and up, and... and... and others, when they're still going to high school... are they degrading?? repeating classes?? strange isn't it?? xD

I guess the depiction of all the characters is meant to be 18+?

Like they have ash, but as an 18 year old or something?

Asides from the fact it HAS to be there or the site won't be allowed to continue, I can't think of any other reason.
