Differences between a HQ Render and a MQ Render
I have noticed that many of the renders do not have the correct prefix.
HQ = high quality render
MQ = medium quality render
If you are not sure what your render quality is, here are some examples.
- HQ renders -
HQ is only used sometimes.
These are generally only posted by experienced renders.
HQ renders are very large in size and high in quality,
and the render has little to no white lines.
NOTICE --- Just because a render is large does NOT mean it is HQ.
These are some examples.
- MQ renders -
MQ renders are generally small in size (thought not always) and are either medium or low quality.
These are usually PrintScreened Images, or Manga Scans that lack quality.
There is usually alot of white lines in it, or the render is not cut properly.
Sometimes the render is blurred too much, unevenly cut, or choppy.
Generally "magic wanded" renders are MQ
