Anyone hear anything about Otoboku season2?
There just seems to be lots and lots of speculation and most of the google results are from early 2007.
Fiendishly hooked on this series right now... Dunno why, jus can't get it out of my head. I'm listening to the 'Beautiful Days" mp3 right now XD Yeah, it's that bad. :p Anyways, I figured I might as well take a dive into the Anime subforum and see whats up :) Hi to everyone btw!  Edit: Btw, any recommendations for a series similar to the plot and mellow pace of this one? I'm a fan of this drawing style too ^^)

concluded that if they really will make a new season of Otoboku, you'll have to wait for another season ahh, it's not to much that I'm into Yuri (I watch some yaoi stuff too); it's more like I fell in love with the plot and pace of the story. As much as I love anime's like Bleach, demonbane or hunterXhunter (that are action packed)... I'm more into the slow paced romantic series that are slightly closer to reality. Like DaCapo, Otoboku, Wind A Breath of Heart, etc etc... emotional sucker?  I also get attracted to the drawing style of those series too... i notice those kind of series are always derived from visual novels or more commonly h-games though lol. Does that mean that there will be no Otoboku season2...? Dunno... Btw, Otoboku ending is so suck.... when I see it, I say this...: "What the hell, that's it...?!?" Yeah i know! At the very end of the credits you see the graduation diploma on a desk. the symbolism is quite obvious... but there have been instances in the past that they've brought another season out despite having a definite ending previously. It's not impossible to have a second season, there is room to explore and answer a lot of things in the storyline still :) More especially on the Takako Vs Mariya over Mizuho... even though Mariya talked a lot about her past regarding Mizuho already... dang, if she didnt do that...there would be more of a reason to do a 2nd season...  |
