Anime in music theme

I really love anime which is full of melodies, like Nodame Cantabile, a music and comedy anime, it's so funny and got a lot of music, or Macross F, which also somehow focus on songs and singers, the melodies in these animes is so good, is there any more anime like those above? any suggestion is appreciated, thanks

I would say Idol Defense Force Hummingbird, but only 2 of the 4 episodes were ever translated, and even those are impossible to find nowadays. (Considering that it's 15 years old now.)

I like the first 3 openings of D. Gray Men. Also Ichirin no Hana (3rd Bleach opening) was also good

I've never seen an anime based off a song before, although I have seen many artist work on different anime themes such as naruto to inuyasha

I really like the Mai Hime soundtrack. The song Mezame is awesome there plenty of others that are great as well on the soundtrack. Yuki Kajiura is great I love all her stuff.

Beck is a good one yeah.
Mentions some good artists, and based on rock genre.
I think the dub is better though. The Japanese's Engrish is horrible haha.

Yeah, but the Engrish makes it hilarious. Also, it's better to watch shows like this they way they were meant to be watched. I can't imagine how they changed some of the scenes where they were originally talking in a language no one else could understand to fit.

Tokimeki Memorial ~Only Love~ is a nice series not much music tho just a lot of comedy and not much romance
